Silver Creek’s girls volleyball squad started strong in the first two games against Greeley Central, winning 25-8 and 25-17 on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011. The third game proved a little more difficult, however, and they found themselves losing 20-25. The Raptors dominated the final game 25-15 for the conference win.
Niwot softball prevails over Silver Creek, 2-1
Stellar defense by both the Niwot Cougars and Silver Creek Raptors kept the scoring in check Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011. Niwot’s Jessica Johnson broke the 1-1 tie in the sixth inning and when the defense stepped back on the field pitcher Nickie Blue made quick work of the Raptors final batting attempts.
