Erie boys and girls basketball split games with Roosevelt
The Erie Tigers boys and girls hoops teams split games with visiting Roosevelt on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012. The girls, plagued by turnovers, lost 62-47. In the boys action both teams had a combined 61 total fouls, but the Tigers prevailed 82-71.

The Silver Creek boys golf team came away on top of the leader board as a team Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 at Pelican Lakes in Windsor on the first day of the Class 4A State Championships. Longmont’s lone golfer Jared Mannatt fired a 76.
Erie swept by Frederick at home
Erie volleyball player Taryn Lee said her team is slow to start, which was the case when Frederick took the first two games easily Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011. The Tigers rally in the third game looked as though it would be enough to prolong the match, but Erie answered and pulled out the sweep.

Erie capitalized on early pitching miscues by Frederick on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011 as they went up 6-0 in the first inning. The Tigers’ momentum never waned as they cruised to a 14-2 win.
