Longmont Police do not believe the same man is responsible for two bank robberies in two days just blocks apart. The Great Western Bank at 600 Kimbark St., was robbed at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010, just minutes before it was closed. U.S. Bank at 436 Coffman St., was robbed Wednesday at 9:05 a.m.

Fire damages home in east Longmont
A fire heavily damaged a two-story house at 1247 Grouse Court on Friday, April 30, 2010 after spreading from a burning ATV quad parked behind that east Longmont home. Six fire department units and an ambulance were dispatched to the fire at about about 10:30 a.m. Investigators are trying to determine what might have caused the fire.
A new chapter for Clark’s Food Store in Hygiene
Sam Clark grew up in his father’s store, Clark’s Food Store in Hygiene, and eventually took over the family business. After nearly 50 years Sam is leasing the business to Hygiene residents Mary Magdalena and Tim Combs, which will give Sam time to focus on his other businesses.
