There was a whole lot of pinning going down in the Cougar gym Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 as the Broomfield Eagles dominated in Niwot. The Cougars did have some bright spots though as Nick Stager opened up the dual with a pin over Zach Stodden. Marcus Cano also pinned Eagle Bobby Klob in the 126-pound match.

Trojan Braden Hitchcock recorded two touchdowns as Niwot’s Nate Merriman and receiver Max McCaddon connected twice for scores.

The Cougars lost 21-14 to the Wildcats, who picked up their first win of the season. Cougar Dillon Manzanares put up both Niwot touchdowns on impressive runs totaling 154 yards.
