The Longmont girls basketball team came up just short of denying Broomfield its fourth straight state championship Friday, March 12, 2010. The Eagles beat the Trojans 55-47 in the Class 4A state title game.

Longmont Girls Semifinal Win
The Longmont High School girls basketball team defeated Mullen 49-40 on Wednesday in the Class 4A state semifinals. With the win at Coors Events Center, the Trojans advance to the Class 4A state championship game, to be played Friday at 6 p.m.
