Vice-President of the United States Joe Biden discusses how the Recovery Act is transforming the American economy while speaking at UQM Technologies, a local business that manufactures electric motors. The company received a $45.1 million government stimulus grant in August.
Fire damages home in east Longmont
A fire heavily damaged a two-story house at 1247 Grouse Court on Friday, April 30, 2010 after spreading from a burning ATV quad parked behind that east Longmont home. Six fire department units and an ambulance were dispatched to the fire at about about 10:30 a.m. Investigators are trying to determine what might have caused the fire.
