The Niwot Cougars football team drops another game, this time to Thompson Valley, at Everly-Montgomery Field in Longmont on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010. Thompson Valley recorded their first win in 19 games.


Colorado falls to Texas Tech, 27-24

The Colorado Buffaloes fell to the Texas Tech Red Raiders 27-24 in their Big XII match up at Folsom Field in Boulder on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010. The Buffs, (3-4,0-3), were held to only 28 yards rushing on 32 attempts and relied on Cody Hawkins and his receivers, who were responsible for 336 yards in the air. Starting quarterback Tyler Hansen didn’t return to the game after a rib injury in the second quarter.
