Falling snow and icy roads didn’t stop about 90 people from gathering for the 17th Annual “Joyful Country Christmas” candlelight program in the Historic Highlandlake Church on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011. The Roberts family performed holiday music, while Philip Mitchell delivered the message of the evening. ”We try to keep (the service) as country and old-fashioned as possible,” Pauli Smith said. “You can’t get much simpler than this.”
